Pieces of bark with lichens, moss, and fungi are positioned atop the opened double pages of the network booket. The text underneath reads: Draw Your Own Networks, but is partially covered by bark.

Network Walk / Booklet at Cubbon Park Bengaluru with Biplab Mahato, October 2025, during the exhibition Travelling Plants at 1Shanthiroad Studio/Gallery Bangalore

Network Walk is a collective exploration of Bengaluru’s hidden infrastructures, where telegraph buildings, internet cables, trees, fungi, and lichens appear as interconnected webs. Beginning at the Central Telegraph Office and moving into Cubbon Park, the walk invites you to trace signals, measure hotspots, and notice the quiet work of mycelium.

A hand holds the Nework Walk Booklet into the camera. A large dragonfly has landed on the booklet and sits on an illustration of shoes, routers, fungi and leafs. A piece of park with lichens and moss balances atop a network walk booklet held by a person in a beautifully embroidered shirt. The text printed on the booklet reads: About Network Walk, with a short abstract about the walk underneath.
Hands hold a magnifying glass that zooms in on a piece of bark habitated by lichens and moss. Network booklets are lying on the ground in the blurry background of the photo.
